New Painted Ponies Of Lake Geneva

These ponies were given to local artistst to paint and be on display in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin and will be auctioned off after four months of display. All proceeds to go to S.M.I.L.E.S., an organization that uses horses to help disabled children and adults. Here's a link to an article written about it, Painted Ponies To Populate Lake Geneva. They have out grown them and moved up but these two are great ponies for a small kid. They will drive, and ride, sweet easy going. Matched all the way down to there white hinde sock, one is a mare and she is a little shorter (1/2 inch ithink), and the gelding is a liitle younger. Will sale seperate for 600.00 each, but will sale the pair with bridles for 1000.00. They are easy keepers, and the will do just about anything.

This time it was actually for an extended period, at Kickin' K Stables, the place where my mom has her weekly lesson. I've been planning to go pony-trekking at some point when I'm in Kyrgyzstan, and I figured I should probably do some riding here first. I rode a short, fat, and adorably cute pony with the unlikely name of Rambo. I don't have any pics of me on him, although I do have some shots of him once our ride was finished. (Also, I am really sore from just an hour of riding. Pony trekking is going to kill me. I purchased him for leading the little grandchildren around on and for the older ones to ride and he is awesome for this but they do not have the interest that Grandma was hoping for. Precious pet pony, trained and gentle for leadline
2007-09-18 03:53:00 Suzy is a half-welsh, rolly polly pasture pet of a pony. She's used to dogs, cats, kids, commotion, etc. Has been well trained leadline, can lunge both on a line and free in a round pen. Can be ridden off lead at a walk by an experienced rider, but I consider her green for off line riding. She ties, leads, loads, bathes, clips, etc. Would make a fantastic driving pony, both her parents were champion driving ponies. Bred by Scarborough Farm Welsh Ponies. Gentle, pretty, needs a job!
