Modern Minds and Pastimes of The Click Five gives a new meaning to the band that will push them harder to create a good music in the future. Although the album has selectively well-written tracks, still they deliver exciting songs and a band with full of energy. If compared to their debut album, "Greetings From Imrie House", a stereotypical The Click Five fan would likely love this sophomore album"Modern Minds and Pastimes"."Flipside" fall short although the beat is good. The second track in the album, "Jenny" has a different magic, fun, and captivating to ears. This track hit the number one spot in the Philippines local charts. The new singer/guitarist Kyle Patrick has a quality voice and a power-pop singer attitude. With the help of other four members, they sound pretty good in the ballad song, "Empty".
