2007-10-03 05:05:00 Primal Scream - Evil HeatOpción 1 -|- Opción 2Un disco que escuché sin expectativas... y me gustó.Recuerdo que vi el video de "Miss Lucifer" en mtv (emptyV) y fue una rola pegajosa y el video era entretenido.Luego me lo encontré por ahí y decidí escucharlo para 'oir' que tal.Y desde el inicio te va llevando por un viaje musical como pocos discos logran, desde la primera rola, Deep Hit of Morning Sun, una canción un tanto melancólica, con toques de rock alternativo, luego el disco se sigue por el dance, hasta psicodélico, mucha electrónica eso sí, unas partes un poco pesadas, pasa por el punk, el funk, luego más psicodelia, y culmina con un blues, de hecho así se llama la última rola: Space Blues #2. Este disco tiene de todo.Este es uno de los pocos discos que me gustaron cuando lo oí por primera vez, y me gustan mucho 9 de las 11 canciones, pero ustedes escúchenlo y háganse su propia opinión.Recomendadísimo!

It was released on Creation Records in 1991 and saw the Glaswegian's drop their jangling noodles for a dance beat. Andrew Weatherall was responsible for the makeover but ?Screamadelica? wouldn't have succeeded were it not for the immaculate vocals of Denise Johnson, the menacing bass turn by Jah Wobble and Bobby Gillespie?s unmistakable way with a tune. Side one closed with an absolute epic that spliced a MLK speech with a creeping tide of swirling synths, giddy beats and a drum kick that?ll wipe out all your couch tendencies.
