Giveaway: I Spy Private Eye
2008-08-30 10:42:00 I’ve never been very good at memory-type games. Maybe it’s because I just have too many things going around in my head. However, Girlie Girl’s life is a little less complicated and therefore is an expert at recalling things she’s seen. That’s why she really enjoyed Briarpatch’s new game - I Spy Private Eye. 2008-01-22 23:27:00 Sorry to pull out the corny Hall & Oates lyrics, but it made me laugh…Toyota has announced they will integrate “eye monitoring” into a new safety system designed to measure if a driver eye’s are looking at the road. Honey West private eye novel visits a nudist colony
2007-11-25 03:45:00 Back in 1965-66 there was a TV detective show called Honey West. It starred Anne Francis. It was ground breaking as it was the first TV detective show portraying a woman as the lead character. The books that the TV shpw was based on came out in the 1950's. In one of the books titled a "A Kiss for a Killer" part of it takes place at what they call a nudist colony. Now all nudists and naturists hate the words nudist colony or nudist colonies. We think it is a negative word like leper colony. We like nudist resort, campground, park naturist resort, etc.I bring this up because I saw at blogcritics.org a review of the book. The reviewer writes now a days a nudist colony would be recognized as a cult.If nudist resorts are cults, then they must be cults of nicee, friendly people. Because that is who goes to nudist resorts. As much as AANR, The Naturist Society, INF, us, etc. try to convince the general public that nudist resorts and topless and nude beaches are for everyone, thee is still...

None too Shy Private Eye
2006-06-22 07:33:00 I'm itching to do something reckless. I'm not the type to just run out and throw caution to the wind, so these moods can be detrimental to my well being. I'm not very good at living dangerously. So, I rattle around the house a bit, it seems like hours. These are the times it hurts to be a teenager and older sister. Mom and Dad are both at work and now that I look back I can't remember where my sister is...she's not home though. I call a friend's house but nobody answers the phone. This exercise is repeated as many times as I have friends and I give up in frustration. I have no idea what I want to do, but I need to do something.I decide to snoop in my parent's room. I'm not sure what I am looking to find, my parents are not the type to have deep, dark secrets. For a few seconds I feel guilty, the parental bedroom is a private place where children are not allowed. At least not without an invitation...and jonesing to get in trouble is not an invitation. After the guil... |
