"There is so much bloodshed and action packed into our films these days. Pretty women provide the much-needed respite to the masses from the melee of non-stop action," says Priyamani. The actress feels the whole debate about excessive skin show is just a farce. "Glamour has been an integral part of showbiz from a longtime and the whole debate about exposing and vulgarity is blown out of proportions. There are competent authorities in place to monitor them. As a matter of fact , personally I am ok with exposing, as long as it is done in good taste," she adds.

Accolades may not have come her way as yet, but Priyamani is progressing, moving on and gradually making her own place in the tinsel town. Of late, she has been in the news for wrong reasons. First, it's her alleged affair with hero Raja and her inability to match steps with her heroes. Then, reports emerged that Priyamani was unhappy with her role in Dil Raju's film and ultimately out of that project.
