2008-04-16 14:42:00 Good news all round if this pulls off, Microsoft and India’s HCL are teaming up to produce the worlds cheapest Windows laptop, low-cost laptops are what the market needs and definitely what the consumers want, I mean look how popular the Asus Eee PC is. So if this all pans out the way HLC and Microsoft want it too I can see one of the best Window’s running low-cost laptops in the world. HCL are apparently looking at expanding their budget-priced business further, the claim is “world’s cheapest Windows laptop.” Well if that happens we can see unbelievable things happening in the way of saving a penny or two. The company is not saying too much at the moment but the new low cost laptop is dubbed to being called the MiLeap H which tells me it is the revamped version of the MiLeap Y.
