We have spoken with three qualified prospects (per the L.P.A. pre-screening tenant prospect card) since yesterday, emailed them our lease application, and interior pictures. All three have seen the exterior of the house and the yard in person. In order to show them the home we require that they fill out and bring a copy of our completed application. There is no fee for this unless we get to the point of a credit and background check.The problem is that no one is following through. We have a tenant who wishes to extend her current lease an additonal 7 months and then plans to move out of state. We know that the property can easily be refreshed and ready for new tenants with time only for a carpet cleaning and maybe at most a visit from the cleaning lady. Since we use this property to help offset the rent for my husband's mother's assited living facility we would like to not have the house vacant for a month if it at all possible. Thanks
