This means that first time home buyers can now save up to $2,000 on a resale home purchase. The legislation for this rebate has not yet been passed, but any first time home buyer that enters into an "agreement to purchase and sale" on or after December 13th, 2007 is entitled to a rebate of up to $2,000 once the legislation is passed.The City of Toronto has also up dated their new land transfer tax so that first time home buyers should not have to pay the land transfer tax on the first $400,000 of their home purchase at all. Roman Provincial Coinage Online Presentation
2007-02-28 05:29:05 The Ashmolean Museum at Oxford University has launched what is probably the most advanced coin website in the world, Roman Provincial Coinage Online (as reviewed by Intute). With funding from the AHRC, the site comprises one of the largest collections of images and related inscriptions from the ancient world which is searchable by iconography, place, and time. The database includes information on over 13,000 coin types (with over 9,000 specimen images available). Guided searches, integrated images, interactive maps and linked tutorials make this site an exciting development for those interested in ancient coins, in classical archaeology, and in Roman history. Professor Christopher Howgego and Dr Volker Heuchert from the Ashmolean Museum gave a presentation at the Oxford University Computing Services on 21 February. An audio recording of the presentation was made and is available to download to an MP3 player.
