In fact, most of baseball was pretty quiet outside of the Ken Griffey deal and Manny Ramirez getting shipped to LA. I am a little disappointed the Giants couldn't unload Randy Winn and get something halfway decent in return, but not at all surprised. Winn seemed like the one logical piece the Giants have that could have made sense for a team like the Mets. As far as trade targets, there was an article out of the San Jose Mercury yesterday that confirmed that the Giants and Rangers were discussing a potential Hank Blalock deal as the Giants had scouts in Texas watching him over the last week. However, Blalock was just placed on the DL after getting injured a few days ago, which killed any potential trade in the works. He has never freaked out at a horse show in fact he is usually more quiet than the aged and experienced show horses we have. He is extremely dependable and will be the same horse every day you take him out. He is very smart and learns new things very quickly. He has been shown in leadline by a 4yo girl (it was her first time riding also). He has also been used in the Truman State University horse show in the walk/trot classes with very very beginning riders on him. He is really good at showmanship. Nintendo Quiet On List Of WiiWare Launch Games
2008-05-07 06:53:00 With less than a week until the downloadable game platform launches next Monday on Wii, Nintendo has yet to divulge what gamers can look forward to. Final Fantasy: My Life As a King (WiiWare) According to Game|Life, it's looking more and more like Nintendo will only announce a list of launch titles the day of release, on May 12. It would be an anti-climatic debut for sure, but one that's consistent with the low-profile, indie games to be featured on the download service, much like Xbox Live Arcade and the PlayStation Store.In March, Nintendo launched the WiiWare service in Japan. 2008-05-05 16:07:00 One of the biggest question marks hovering above the Colorado Avalanche this offseason is the future of coach Joel Quenneville, who has been defended by the mainstream press as he's been attacked by me and the rest of the online Avalanche community. So far, there is no word from the team. Our take is that he's simply the wrong coach for the Avs. The lineup, at least on paper, was built for speedy, score-at-will offense. Paul Stastny, Joe Sakic, Wojtek Wolski, Milan Hejduk, with Ryan Smyth and Andrew Brunette down low, were the foundation of a run-and-gun attack that could have led the league in goals scored. Instead they spent most of the year below the goal line or dumping the puck and weakly chasing it into the corners.
