So...how was your summer? Mine was crap. I tried to write this several times over the past few months, before deciding that the best way to express my thoughts would be in my first ever video blog. But once I started recording, I drew a blank, so I had to write it all down anyway. And then there's the issue of where to look. I tried looking directly at the camera, but the constant stare came out looking insane and a little creepy. So I tried it again, looking slightly off camera, but without any eye contact, it looked like I was trying to hide something. So I ultimately decided to just go back to writing the whole damn massive thing out in sections like I was going to do in the first place, except now I have this needless explanatory paragraph to start out with. My all time favorite race without rabbits is the 1974 Commonwealth Games 1500 meters in Christchurch, New Zealand. Filbert Bayi’s set a world record of 3.32.2 beating New Zealand’s John Walker in the process. Bayi opened up a first lap 54.9 and ran from start to finish in first place, with Walker closing in the final lap. The video shows the 800m race first, followed by the 1500m about 800m into the race, with 700m to go. What you miss is Bayi leading from the gun on a suicide pace. He splits 800 meters at 1:52.1! Here is the video from YouTube: You see, there is no need for wascal wabbits! And you have John Walker and Rod Dixon stalking like hunting prey. They cant say we havent been fruitful and multiplied HAHA.....Enjoy the montage below..My friend Kelly and I got together to have the kids paint flower pots for Operation Inasmuch. Its this weekend.. so had we not done it today it wouldnt of gotten done.Besides the painting we managed to buy a few needed groceries.. as well as break in our new GIGANTIC sandbox... Travis wanted one that would be large enough for multiple kids to play "inside" it... He wasnt kidding when he said "large."ITS HUGE!!!!!!!!!We managed to feed all our kids... keep them from breaking and bones... paint the pots... play nicely (for the most part, hehe)... and leave in one piece.I look forward to the next time we all get together.Make video montages at www.OneTrueMedia.comBelow are a few of my fav. photos from the day...and of course the group photo... where the kids except 1 or twolook like they are slowly being tortured to sit for 3 seconds.

I felt so sorry for this rabbit, because it had a beautiful, friendly nature and the girl that owned it was absolutely devastated. Myxomatosis is a disease of rabbits caused by a virus that was released to control the feral rabbit population of Australia. It is illegal to vaccinate pet rabbits against Myxomatosis in Australia, because the available vaccine is a live virus, and could theoretically be spread through the feral rabbit population. The myxoma virus causes a wasting disease over two weeks with most rabbits dieing. It’s spread from rabbit to rabbit by insect bites: mainly from mosquitoes in Australia but also by the rabbit flea. We've seen plenty of newfangled contact lenses in the past, but it looks like a team of researchers at the University of Washington may have outdone them all, with their latest creation promising not only heads-up displays, but "superhuman vision." That's apparently possible thanks to a combination of lights and circuits, which they've managed to cram onto lens no larger than your average contact -- though it doesn't even do so much as light up in its current state (that's promises "soon"). Naturally, the researchers have tested the lenses on rabbits instead of themselves, which they say have shown "no adverse effects" after wearing the lenses for upwards of 20 minutes, although we'll just have to wait and see if they feel the same way after the researchers flip the switch on 'em.
