As you might expect, it ain't no straightforward rocker (um, leave that to Daughtry--wait, no, leave that to Pearl Jam or Foo Fighters). Greenwood revealed all in an interview with Word, saying his deafness was due to using the wrong type of headphones in the studio. "It came back, mostly." Greenwood said of his diminishing hearing. "It doesn't feel like I'm talking to people underwater anymore."
