Bassist of Radiohead Went Deaf after In Rainbows album recording
2008-05-27 12:20:00 Collin GreenwoodRadiohead bassist Colin Greenwood went deaf during the recording of the band's latest album In Rainbows. Greenwood revealed all in an interview with Word, saying his deafness was due to using the wrong type of headphones in the studio. "It came back, mostly." Greenwood said of his diminishing hearing. "It doesn't feel like I'm talking to people underwater anymore." However, the recovery wasn't so plain sailing as Colin revealed: "For a few months afterwards I'd be watching the telly and suddenly hear these high-pitched whistling noises as more and more high frequencies came back."Story from Angryape.com....
