Tertullian had already been a part of the Montanist heresy for more than a decade and had officially split from the Church some 8 years ago (Harnack) or possibly 7. The controversy was two fold. First, Hippolytus accused Callistus of following in Zephyrinus' indecisive ways concerning Monarchianism, especially Modalism. There's lots of names for various beliefs here so to keep it simple, I'll just summarize that in various forms they overstressed the unity of the Father and Son to the point where they taught it was permissible to say that the Father had suffered on the Cross. 2008-01-12 04:32:00 I would so like to shoot whoever came up with the idea of the medication reconciliation process (yes I know it is JCAHO, but I want a specific individual.)Back in the good old days, before we went to the computer (that is supposed to speed things up, but don't get me started) I was very good at triage, usually I could triage someone with a complicated medical history and a lot of meds in about 5 or 10 minutes. Now, thanks to the computer and medication reconciliation, it takes me 2 to 3 times as long. The more we try to streamline, the slower things move.But wait, it isn't good enough to have to enter grandma's big ol' bag of meds during triage, now we have to generate a form with all those meds listed on it along with all the meds they received in the ER and....FIND THE ER DOCTOR and HAVE HIM SIGN IT and FAX IT TO THE PATIENTS FREAKING DOCTOR OR DOCTORS.
