2008-02-15 02:22:00 Yes, that's Christ the Redeemer in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. And yes, it was struck by lighting. Which made me think (and this is coming from a Catholic perspective), what did Jesus do in heaven? Seems like he's been naughty. God the Father isn't obviously pleased with him.Anyway, kidding aside, this has to be the photograph of the year, granting it isn't a hoax. But even if it's a hoax, whoever came up with the idea has quite an imagination.
