In short, John Haynes & I were each able to bag a nice limit on the very same body of water that skunked me the weekend before. I personally believe it had to do with location, we fished many of the same lures & techniques, conditions were pretty similar but the scenery had changed.We started off fishing some rocks on the mouth of a backwater, where John quickly tempted some nice smallmouth with a 3/8oz Sunfish Tru-Tungsten Jig. Those same fish, showed no interest in my Reaction Innovations Method Crank that I was trying to make work. I hit this baby kind of hard when it was new (November 1 re-setting values at 57 Bond / there goes the neighborhood) and again when it came back to market (January 7: 57 Bond back on market / still pushing (new) neighborhood values). I missed the January 8 price drop from $3.45mm to $3.295mm and the February 7 drop to $2.95mm. I would guess The Manhattan Loft Market was as unimpressed as I with the $150k drop that stayed well above "3"; then it took (only) 5 weeks for the new "2" price to work.
