Because I love zombie movies, even ones like 28 Days Later where the "zombies" aren't really zombies (and actually all those Romero incarnations aren't truly zombie movies either--look it up...try Haiti). Regardless of what you might think about the games, the first Resident Evil flick was darn good. It managed to terrify the crap out of us with those zombie dogs and the truly frightening zombified people. We were able to forgive the makers for the poor CGI too, since those weird mutation things were sort of bad, but didn't take up the screen much.Then came Resident Evil 2 and those of us who liked the first movie were screaming "yes", right up until we saw and we were screaming "no". That said, we do get to take a look at Chris Redfield taking out the latest batch of not-zombies in Resident Evil 5. Honestly, it's probably a good thing that most of the footage was taken off-screen, as the sheer size of Chris Redfield's muscles might be overpowering in high definition. 2008-02-29 21:47:00 Resident Evil Zero for the WiiCapcom is going to tinker with Gamecube title Resident Evil Zero and release it on Wii.The first snaps were found in Japanese magazine Famitsu (and spotted by Resident Evil Horror).Zero, just like Resident Evil 4, will be given Wii remote controls and probably some extra story fluff.However, it was a weaker instalment in the series than RE4 and, if given the same ham-fisted Wii controls, could be a less appealing package. Plus you can already play it on Wii using backwards compatibility.If and when the new version does come out in Europe it will probably carry a cut-down price-tag like RE4, which was GBP 25.
