He was, is and has been an awesome horse- but he was diagnosed with navicular last year and I can't ride him as much as I'd like to anymore. I tried corrective shoeing and it has not made a difference compared to when he was barefoot. He is lame on and off and would do well out on pasture as a companion horse for another lonely horse. He likes to be outside most of the time, and he doesn't need any special grains or anything, just some hay, water and a salt block- he can even go back to barefoot...talk about low maintenance eh? He is friendly and spunky and it breaks my heart to let him go. He is free to the right person. If you have a home and lots of love for him, please reply.
