Track: Overture: RienziExtract from IODA:Wagner's fame is concentrated on less than a dozen operas, yet his music has influenced virtually every composer who followed him and is still felt today. His work had a great bearing on the development of the orchestra, while it was his strong feelings towards the theatre which led to radical changes in the attitude of singers to the stage. There’s something going on, but you don’t what it is, do you Mr. Jones? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-56vYQRvq47c We hope you’ve been enlightened. Join us next week whe...
