The red light camera committee (RedSpeed) has recommended a new red light intersection in Park Ridge: Dee and Talcott.Maine South High School is located at Dee and Talcott; but for the most part, it's a really calm intersection. Surprisingly, 205 of those citations were due to improper right turns at a red light. It is normally perfectly fine to make a right turn at a red light as long as you can safely avoid incoming traffic, but not at this intersection.
