Zig Ziglar Health Update – Good News! We got good news today. The surgeon saw enough improvement in Dad’s balance to recommend going ahead with the permanent shunt surgery. Dad is scheduled for the operation tomorrow at 11:00 a.m., CST. Please pray that the surgery goes smoothly, that Dad recovers quickly from the anesthesia, that there are no complications, and that Dad begins recuperation and rehab as swiftly as possible. The doctor said that improvements are likely to come gradually over time. We are so blessed to have this procedure as an option. The hospital staff has been wonderful and we are very grateful for them as well. Thank you so much for your prayers. There are thousands of people praying, and we can certainly feel your prayers! 2008-04-22 17:10:00 I have posted sample images from the wedding of Diana and Jason at Dreams Tulum, Mayan Riviera, Mexico. They're a couple from Chicago, and it was a small and intimate wedding. Somehow the minister was told the ceremony started at 6pm, whereas everybody else was set for 5:30pm, so after the ceremony we had to rush for the portrait session to have nice pictures in the very little time left. Anyway, I think I was able to capture nice memories for Diana and Jason. By the way, the Dreams Tulum is a nice and photogenic place for a wedding. You can see the gallery here. La pasta: Casarecce con totani della riviera e pomodoro
2008-01-28 06:37:00 Sabato mattina ho acquistato dei bellissimi totano pescati in riviera, ho subito pensato a farne una buiona pasta, cos dopo avere comprato le casarecce (una pasta siciliana credo), ho ipotizzato questa semplice ma gustosa ricetta, visto le quantit potrebbe anche essere visto come piatto unico. Il gusto delicato ma presente dei totani si sposa bene con la passata e i pomodori maturi aggiungono l?acidit necessaria. I totani inoltre erano veramente gustosi e si scioglievano in bocca. Un?ottima pasta veloce e dal profumo di mare che ho accompagnato con un buon chardonnay umbro leggermente barricato. Un piatto che consiglio a chi cerca una ricetta semplice da preparare ma ricca di sapore, soprattutto a chi non preparare ma il pesce perch pensa che non semplice da preparare, credo che sia giunta l?ora di sfatare questo mito una volta per tutte! Eravamo partiti con l?obbiettivo di valorizzare la nostra terra, i nostri luoghi belli e maledetti. We are situated in that small area of Alabama that touches the Gulf Of Mexico. If you know where Mobile Bays is, you know where we are.
