2008-06-05 07:24:00 John Lydon (Johnny Rotten) of the Sex Pistols has been accused of beating a female assistant last year. In a lawsuit filed by Roxanne Davis, Lydon is said to have punched her in the face and called her lewd names.Yoko Ono and sons Sean and Julian will continue to pursue litigation against the makers of the film Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed for their use of the song Imagine. On Monday, a lower court refused to order the song pulled from the film, so Ono has decided to appeal, saying "It is a pity that this decision weakens the rights of all copyright owners. One of the most basic rights I control by reviewing and choosing licences is the right to say 'no'. The filmmakers simply looted me of the ability to do so." The first portion covered his solo work and some music from Pink Floyd while the second half was a complete playing of Dark Side of the Moon and music from The Wall.Spectacle was also part of his performance. At the end of the first set, during Animals, a giant inflated pig was released into the sky over the crowd. Unfortunately, the pig became unteathered and floated away. Attended The Roger Waters Concert Saturday
2007-07-02 21:57:00 Got tickets to the company suite... great show. I'd give it a 9 out of 10. Would have given it a 10 had it not been for the personal politics of the show. Certainly I understand that Pink Floyd has had sort of an anti-establishment political outlook from the start, so you know what you are getting. But I never care for the personal specific political messages, and we certainly could have done without the Englishman coming to our state capital and criticizing American politics.
