2007-09-21 15:37:00 Rohit Sharma made an unbeaten 50 of jsut 40 balls in the twenty20 match against South Africa to guide India into the sem-final of twenty20 world cup. It was really of great effort. When Rohit Sharma came to the crease india were 33-3 loosing their main three batsmen. Then Uthappa fell shortly making it 64 for 4. Rohit Sharma, just 20 years old stayed at the crease and rescued india to a score of 156 in 50 overs. He shared a great partnership with MS Dhoni, the captain.Rohit Sharma hit 7 fours and 2 sixes in his inning to complete his 50 runs. If it wasn't Sharma who played brillaintly, India would be all out before 20 overs and it would be very difficult for them to qualify for the semi-final.
