Rooney only played the first half as the main striker but he was given the same role as Fernando Torres is given at Liverpool and that doesnt suit him, i honestly dont think that Rooney can play upfront on his own. Brown had a night to forget, at one point it looked like David Beckham was playing at right back and Brown was playing at the right midfield. Ferdinand had a good, strong match but at the last 15/20 minutes it looked like he was carrying an injury.
