There has been some speculation that Adam Bostick will be brought up because he's already on the 40 man roster and has options. The Mets could move a reliever (Smith or Sosa), bring up Bostick for the day and then re-assign him to bring up Matt Wise. But Bostick has been pretty mediocre in AAA and I don't see how you can have confidence in him at the MLB level.Figgy's loss tonight served two purposes for the club, first of all it made Wednesday's game all that more important and showed that Figgy is at best a long reliever. Tonight was Figgy's fourth start in a row that couldn't be considered a quality start, which means only in his first two starts he made it six innings and/or allowed only three runs.
