El modelo es un Serie I 86 1.595 cc. Importado en 1954, número 57131914. Es uno de los Land Rovers más antiguos de Colombia. Un vehículo con sólo dos dueños. El vehículo fue producido en Birmingham Inglaterra y es uno de los 87 modelos actualmente restaurados en el mundo correspondientes a la producción 1953/54. El vehículo mantiene su motor original y accesorios (carburador, distribuídor, dínamo, regulador de voltaje lucas, etc.), así como el instrumental original del tablero. Mr. Polites was 60, and died Sunday in his home country of Australia, following a two-year struggle with cancer. Spotted: A V12-powered Range Rover? Is Land Rover working on a high-perfromance version of its Range Rover luxury SUV? It would appear so. Will it be propelled by a V12 engine? "Yes," according to spy photographers. Our sources say the quad-exhaust and front-bumper layout are indicative of a V12 powertrain. We'll remain skeptical until better information becomes available, but in any case, it's clear a high-performance Range Rover is in the works. It certainly appears Land Rover is trying to move further up-market. The next-generation 2013 Range Rover is rumored to offer Bentley-like levels of luxury, and pricing as high as $200,000.
