Developed by Evolution Robotics, it is one of the first robots of its kind to use Northstar 2 technology, a hardware/software-based system that enables the Rovio to intelligently navigate complex interior spaces. The WowWee Group is the first corporate entity to take advantage of Northstar technology with the introduction of the Rovio. WowWee’s Rovio comes with a high resolution webcam plus audio, and can be accessed remotely from a wifi computer or PDA.
