2007-10-27 23:29:00 The Fashion Group International decided to honor a few of the fashion rebels, or rule breakers, as the called them at this years Night of Stars gala in NYC. Coco Chanel, Yves Saint Laurent and Jean-Paul Gaultier, were honored last night for their cutting edge designs and taking things to the next level. Gaultier, who was given the "Superstar" award, stood alongside his date for the evening, Lauren Bacall, as they reflected on what exactly it means to be called a rule breaker. "What are the rules?" said Jean-Paul Gaultier. "Who makes the rules?" fired back Lauren Bacall. "Exactment!" said Gaultier. "[The rules] are only the reflection of what's happening in life, in society, so there are no real rules in fashion." The bad weather is understandable but what is not understandable is keeping people in planes on the runway for 8 hours. Well that is another rant.The rules are always in place to keep order. Airlines have banned taking liquids on board. When there are rule there are rule breakers.The Security staff at Manchester Airport have told many stories of people trying to break the rulesA man tried to bring a bottle of vodka to board a plane, but security informed the man that the bottle of vodka was not allow. Instead of throwing the drink out, the man drank it in front of security (bottoms up).
