The "niggers* are too stupid to grow food" line, appalling in its stupidity, continues to retain a lot of currency. Screw that. Africans have been growing food for 1000's of years, Jesus Christ. The latest permutation has to do with...

Thursday Thirteen, Nr. 11, about the Sahel
2007-08-03 05:02:00 Thirteen Things from Me 1. The Sahel starts in Mauritania and crosses all the way through Senegal, Mali, Burkina Faso, Niger, Northern Nigeria, Northern Cameroon and Chad to Sudan. 2. It is the joint between the tropical Africa and the Sahara. 3. The population density is very low. You can travel for days, crossing dunes and plateaus without seeing anybody. And then, out of nowhere you meet a nomad. You don?t know where he comes from and where he goes to. He knows. 4. A Thuraya Satellite phone is very useful. You can call any place from anywhere. And if you are lost it gives you the coordinates of your position. And you can be saved. Most probably by a Russian MI-8 helicopter. 5. With one date you can survive 3 days in the Sahel. The first day you eat the skin. The second you eat the fruit. And the third you suck the stone. 6. Tuareg are one of the most famous nomad tribe in the Sahel. They live in Mali, Niger and Algeria. 7. The Tuareg language is Tamashek when they speak and Tifin...
