2008-11-15 16:10:00 Listed below are the 3rd quarter marketing reports for Washtenaw County. Included are all of the different areas of Ann Arbor, and the surrounding area's of Saline, Dexter, Chelsea, Milan, Ypsilanti (and all it's areas) Ypsilanti Township, Whitmore Lake and Manchester. Amazingly enough as the entire country was embellished in terrible market and economic conditions we still managed to sell houses. In fact, sales were up in October of 2008 by 16.5% from October of 2007. The bad news is that the sales price is down 10.5%, and that hurts sellers. One positive sign is that the number of listings coming on the market are down. I believe that sellers are no longer "testing the market" but waiting if they do not have to sell. According to recently published studies, commercially available sinus and cold medications are ineffective at best and in some cases even dangerous for use by children. For treatment of cold symptoms, try using a nasal wash solution made from processed seawater. It can also prevent respiratory infection from coming back. During the study, 390 children were tested over a period of 6 weeks. The noses of the children in the nasal saline solution group were less stuffy and runny. Oh, we've had a few flurries... but his is the real thing.My son, Jamie who is going into the Navy is home and his girlfriend who lives in Tennessee flew in for the weekend.
