Man Sues Salvation Army for injuries sustained at West 63rd Street location
2009-08-21 00:26:00 A Chicago man is suing the Salvation Army for injuries he alleges he sustained at the West 63rd Street location in Chicago. In a complaint filed today in the Circuit Court of Cook County, Anthony Herron describes himself as "a beneficiary in a charitable program conducted by the Defendant," and while performing activities consistent with that program, "wood boards fell on top of him." Herron asserts that the Salvation Army, among other things, "failed to properly place and organize the wood boards," which caused him to fall to the ground and land on a hand jack, sustaining injury.
