2008-05-10 02:47:00 Topshop's Hackle high leg fringe sandals It might sound a little silly but when I first saw these Toopshop Hackle-High leg fringe sandals I thought "Jack in the beanstalk" because of the fringe strap that climbs right up the leg. Then I decided that you would get the weirdest tan line if you wore these out in the sun - I think on a way too practical level sometimes when it comes to shoes. But all that aside I actually think these shoes are very cool. You can get the gladiator-style boot without actually wearing boots that strap all the way up your leg would make walking so much easier. And the price isn't too bad - £25 isn't too much to ask, and they're also available in 2 other colours. I might have to order me a pair now...

2008-05-09 17:48:00 Balenciaga pink satin multicolor floral printed sandals It's been a while since I've seen Balenciaga shoes that weren't gladiator boots (and seen on Mary-Kate Olsen) or rather outrageous. These Balenciaga pink satin multicolor floral printed sandals definitely don't fit into the previous two categories but do go with Balenciaga's spring 2008 floral theme. Bright, colourful and complete with chunky heel, these shoes just seem to hark back to the 1990s, which is rather scary because I really hoped I would never see those kinds of shoes again. They're not a must-buy for me, but it could be interesting to see if anyone does wear them. Love them? They've been marked down from $725 to $580 at BlueFly.
