2007-05-15 00:00:00 According to Sangoma, because of the EOL of several key components of the S series Sangoma cards, the following cards have been regretfully declared End-of-Life: S5145 56kbps DDS cards, all versions S5141 dual port serial RS232/V.35 cards, all versions S5142 quad port serial RS232/V.35 cards, all versions S509 POS monitor card, all versions Replacement products: The S5145 card will be replaced by an AFT-based card, designated the A56, similar to the A101 and A102 range of cards. The drivers under all operating systems will be almost identical to those for the newer AFT-based T1 cards, the 56kbps datastream being treated as one DSO in a T1 or E1 span. The A56 cards will be available in quantity by the end of May 2007. The S5141 and S5142 cards will be replaced by new quad port AFT-based cards, designated the ASR and ASV.
