Revamping it to the point that the only thing that is the same as the original, is the platform heel and the cross-ankle strap. Not that I'm complaining, this YSL green satin Tribute heel with patent trim is actually quite adorable, bordering on cool in fact. I love the constrating green and black patent leather, you don't see many green shoes around in a colour that doesn't look like nature got blended up in a blender and poured over mulch, while the patent leather gives it a nice contrast, especially with the cut out detail. These Balenciaga pink satin multicolor floral printed sandals definitely don't fit into the previous two categories but do go with Balenciaga's spring 2008 floral theme. Bright, colourful and complete with chunky heel, these shoes just seem to hark back to the 1990s, which is rather scary because I really hoped I would never see those kinds of shoes again. They're not a must-buy for me, but it could be interesting to see if anyone does wear them. Love them? They've been marked down from $725 to $580 at BlueFly.
