Netflix Review In A Minute: Scarface

After a life time of rummaging through Scarface posters at Suncoast or having Scarface t-shirts shoved in my face walking down Canal Street...I decided to see what the fuss was about.Overall, I did like the film a lot. Not something I'd watch over and over again, it was definitely entertaining and held my attention all the way through. If you can get past Pacino's annoyingly fake Cuban accent, I think you could enjoy the film too.They definitely do not hold anything back. Language and gore abound in this film, starting with a rather bold attempt at a chainsaw torture scene. I secretly just wanted to see this film because I love Michelle Pfeiffer and she does a rather good job of playing a disco-era remnant now stuck in the 80's with her old Studio 54 nose candy habits. Her final scene in the restaurant where she rips Tony a new one, was brilliant. Unlike all of Tony's other subordinates, she was never afraid to stand up to him, which I loved.I fe...
