Tonight's game was the home opener for the Leafs a few days after their brilliant victory over the defending Stanley Cup champions.Jaroslav Halak was in net for Montreal and he had to keep Toronto off the score sheet after only a few minutes. The solid play from the Habs goaltender gave confidence to Montreal.
