Schumi to help distribute McLaren 'spy fine'
2008-03-27 13:35:00 Seven time world champion Michael Schumacher has been appointed to the body that will distribute the $60 million cash 'spy fine' paid by McLaren-Mercedes to the FIA.The German 39-year-old, who is also an advisor to the Ferrari team, will join FIA president Max Mosley on the management committee of the fund, and representing the manufacturers involved in the espionage saga are Jean Todt (Ferrari) and Mercedes' Norbert Haug.A statement issued by F1's governing body said the $60m would be called the Motor Sport Safety Development Fund, and be used "for the benefit of motor sport worldwide"."The intention is to disperse the fund over the next five years", the FIA added.

Video: Schumi “FXX taxi” porta Zidane!
2007-07-04 05:38:00 Ve lo avevamo anticipato, ora siamo in grado fi farvelo vedere in un bel video: Schumacher è infatti tornato in pista a Magny Cours in concomitanza col Gran Premio, e per l’occasione ha usato la sua FXX nera. Schumi tra l’altro lo ha fatto con entusiasmo dopo l’invito dell’IMC (Istituto del cervello e del midollo spinale), che lo vuole come testimonial per una raccolta fondi, e nell’occasione ha portato a fare qualche giro con se il calciatore della nazionale francese Zinedin Zidan - anche lui coinvolto in iniziative simili con la ELA, Associazione contro le leucodistrofie. Insomma due grandi campioni dello sport, uniti per aiutare chi è in difficoltà : una vera garanzia per il successo della manifestazione. E ovviamente Schumi come sempre quando c’è da scendere in pista, ci ha messo il massimo impegno, come testimonia il decisamente buon passo del tedesco in azione con la FXX!
