NEPOMUK-KDE is a sub-project of the Semantic-Desktop project Nepomuk which aims to provide a full implementation of the standards and APIs defined in Nepomuk on the KDE desktop. As a sub-project of Nepomuk the two main issues are the maintenance and intensive usage of metadata throughout the desktop and powerful peer-to-peer collaboration techiques. Si perchè è da una settimana che sto cercando di fare uno screencast con Mac OS X e non sono ancora riuscito a tirare le fila del discorso e ad arrivare a qualcosa di concreto. I problemi sono stati diversi: alcuni sono riuscito a risolverli perchè erano semplicemente legati ad una decisione da prendere, altri mi attanagliano ancora adesso e mi impediscono di fare sogni tranquilli la notte. Per prima cosa non è stata cosa semplice scegliere il software giusto per catturare il video dal desktop. Attualmente su Mac esistono soltanto tre programmi e non è che siano particolarmente adatti allo scopo che mi ero prefisso io. Gli applicativi in questione sono iShowU, Snapz Pro, ScreenMimic e Screenography e da quanto constatato sono tutti e quattro poco adatti a screencast da pubblicare poi sul web.
