2007-12-23 05:09:00 Today I was doing my Christmas shopping and I heard Coldplay on the radio a couple times. Not that unusual considering they are one of the most popular bands right now, but I found it a little strange that I heard "Yellow" both times. It is hard to believe that Coldplay released that song over seven years ago. Fairly popular at the time, it wasn't until "Clocks" and "The Scientist" were released in 2002 that Coldplay would reach widespread mainstream success in the US. Now almost finished with their fourth studio album, Coldplay is gearing up for another successful release and tour. There is no release date set for the album yet but it is rumored to be set in the next few months. In the meantime, they did their own acoustic version of "Last Christmas" which can be viewed on their website, www.coldplay.com. Unfortunately it is not on youtube yet or I would embed it into the article. You will just have to take my word for it and head over there now. They seem to be enjoying themselve...
