BLOG EVENT-XXXVII: SENTIMENTAL JOURNEY - ESSEN, ANGESTAUBT
2008-08-06 14:24:00 Jutta möchte wissen, welche Erinnerungen wir mit kulinarischen "Highlights" verbinden. Es gibt viele Erinnerungen, die sich da bei mir aufdrängen, einige habe ich sogar verbloggt, wie z. B. Toast Hawaii oder Vanillepudding, der unbedingt aus der Tüte sein muss. Legendär natürlich auch Leberkäs Hawaii, damit verbinde ich den ewigen Spruch: Muss man darauf achten, dass da kein Ei drankommt? Oder: Rindfleisch im eigenen Saft in der Goldlackdose, früher aus EVSt-Beständen, ist für mich der Inbegriff für Ferienlager bzw. Camping. EVSt, die Einfuhr- und Vorratsstelle für Schlachtvieh, Fleisch und Fleischerzeugnisse legte für Krisenzeiten Vorräte an. Wenn dann die Haltbarkeit dieser Produkte sich dem baldigen Ende näherte, wurden diese Dinge günstig angeboten. Die Dosen wurden von vielen aufgekauft, um es dann zu kulinarischen Highlights in Ferienlagern, heimischen Küchen etc. aufzubereiten. Auch bei mir waren diese Dosen Retter in der Not, wenn das studentische Budget nicht einmal me...

Dann schauen wir mal, was Ralf mit dem Stock so in Erfahrung bringen möchte: Was war Deine erste “echte†PC-Hardware? Mein erster persönlicher Computer war der Sinclair ZX-Spectrum. Der hatte wenigstens ein gutes Basic an Board, im Gegensatz zu einem gewissem Brotkasten und eine gescheiten Prozessor, dem Z80A mit 3,5 MHz. Da konnte der C64 doch gar nicht gegen anstinken. Jaja, die guten alten Zeiten, wo das Betriebssystem noch ROM hieß und komplexeste Anwendungen nicht mehr als 46 kByte benötigten, inklusive Sound und Grafik. Später habe ich als Schüler hart gejobbt um mir den Computer der Computer zu holen. Das akustische und grafische Wunderwerk des Siliziums. Ein Rechner, der mehr Applelike war als Apple selbst. Ein Computer der so voller Power war, dass ein Hauptprozessor alleine nicht reichte, sondern noch weitere Prozessoren mit Klangvollen Namen ihre Arbeit für Grafik, Sound uvm. verrichte...
