2007-11-04 13:00:00 SEPULTURA frontman Derrick Green has posted the fourth entry in an ongoing tour journal covering the band's first-ever appearance in India:"We have a long travel day ahead of us to Shillong and we check out of the hotel at 5 in the morning and head to the airport. We will have a layover in Kolkata [Calcutta] then go to Guwahati and when arrive there we will have a four-hour drive because of road construction to Shillong."The landscape flying into Guwahati is very different than Delhi. There is much more green and mountains in the area. We are close to Burma [and] Nepal."We land and file into 5 different cars. I already start to notice that people look different. There is more of an Asian element mixed with the people that I notice and less traffic. The roads don't seem that bad at first but there are cows lying casual all over the two-lane highway. 2007-11-03 21:50:00 We have a long travel day ahead of us to Shillong and we check out of the hotel at 5 in the morning and head to the airport. We will have a layover in Kolkata (Calcutta) then go to Guwahati and when arrive there we will have a 4 hour drive because of road construction to Shillong. The landscape flying into Guwahati is very different then Delhi there is much more green and mountains in the area, we are close to Burma, Nepal.We land and file into 5 different cars, I already start to notice that people look different . 2007-10-28 17:45:00 I awoke very early at least for me 9:00 am and descended downstairs for breakfast. I was hungry and I was looking forward to having something typical for an Indian breakfast. I proceeded experimenting with various spicy dishes and continued going back for more, it was all extremely delicious.I was anxious to see New Delhi and only a few people who were up and ready to go. I called Jean because I know that he mentioned the day before that he wanted to go anywhere at anytime. 2007-10-27 19:29:00 Our journey is a long voyage starting from Sao Paulo Brazil with a quick layover in London then straight to New Delhi.The expectations are running high for everyone because this will be our first time in India for all of us. I have always had a desire to come to India since I was a young boy so this happens to be a very important trip personally.We descend into New Delhi 11 :30 at night and the city is covered in a soft blanket of smog.The only images that can be made out our the offset yellow street lights and the glowing white headlights of traffic coming to and leaving the airport.We step of the plane and the scent in the air is strong, it's the first thing that we all notice. It's not a bad scent that we are smelling but a different one that we are not familiar with.It's a scent of intrigue,curiosity, the unknown.The airport is under construction but we are easily able to gather our possessions and make our way through customs with no questions or much of a delay.Read the com...

2007-09-08 21:49:00 Chaos A.D. is an album released in 1993 by Sepultura through Roadrunner Records.Though the band had had some success previously, Chaos A.D. was their breakthrough album. Chaos A.D. went into a more groove driven direction which helped usher the then forming groove metal genre instead of the thrash metal and death metal styling of their earlier efforts.The band also included an acoustic, percussion-lead instrumental Kaiowas on the album.
