2007-10-16 04:32:00 This was done some time back. I bought some (skinless) chicken breast meat from the super market. I knew my son won't like it because they are skinless (he likes the skin) so I did this instead. The sesame seed gave a nice aroma to the bland chicken.Ingredients: 2 Chicken Fillet or Breast Meat Batter (Flour with water) Sesame Seed 1/2 tablespoon Light Soy Sauce 1 teaspoon Chinese Cooking Wine Oil for frying How to do it: Marinate the chicken with light soy sauce and wine for an hour. Dip the chicken in batter and coat with sesame seeds. Deep fry in low heat till the sesame seeds turn golden brown. Remove and drain the oil. Cut in slices and serve with your dipping sauce. I ate at a restaurant last year and had a really good sesame crusted Tuna with a dipping sauce, I have experimented since then to try and make something similar. I'm sure it is not exactly the same but it tastes great and is a really light healthy meal.Ingredientsolive oil4 Tuna steaksSesame seeds (I haven't listed quantity as it will vary for size of steaks, but enough to cover one side of tuna)1 sachet miso paste (18g)3 Tablespoons mirin3 Tablespoons sake2 Tablespoons sugar2 Tablespoons rice vinegar2 Teaspoons Japanese soy sauce1/4 Teaspoon wasabiMethod1.
