A poet from Nagpur - whose ghazals have been sung by leading singers from across the subcontinent - including names like Jagjit and Chitra Singh, Lata Mangeshkar, Chandan das, Hariharan, Ghulam Farid Sabri, Aziz Nazan, Salman Alvi, Rais Khan, Munni Begum, Udit Narayan and Pankaj Udaas to name a few.
