2008-02-18 10:33:00 It seems that the Rajnikanth-Aishwarya Rai pair on screen is truly jinxed.Ash has often been approached to star in the Tamil superstar's films like Chandramukhi, Sivaji: The Boss and his latest film, Robot.But a source tells us that Ash has opted out of Shankar's Robot as well. This, despite the fact that she was apparently offered Rs 6 crores for the film, the highest ever for an actress.It seems Shankar asked for dates spread over two years for Robot. But Ash, who reportedly wants to start a family soon, could not spare dates over such a long time.Deepika Padukone had been considered for the role but her name was dropped, and Ash had stepped in in her place.When rediff.com contacted Ash's business manager Harii Singh, he denied the news.Robot tells a story about scientists creating a robot, which goes on to become a nuisance to the society. But the SDZ song 'Aakelesthe', composed by Devisri Prasad, seems to have an edge and is rocking the charts. The top five Telugu songs are: 1. 'Aakelesthe' - Film: 'Shankar Dada Zindabad'. The song is still a chartbuster. Mamta Mohandas and Naveen have made it hummable with some terrific support from music director Devisri Prasad. 2. 'Noonoogameesalodu'- Film: 'Yamadonga'.
