Although it looks very dry, in fact there have been good rains here this year, it's just that the ground is glacial debris, so the drainage is pretty good. Soil quality is on the other hand, almost unploughable as there are so many rocks and stones and gravel, which is exactly what you get in this sort of terrain. Moisture retention is low and nutrition value minimal. Such is life in this harsh landscape.

When I originally saw previews for it in the theater, I actually thought it was a commercial that was going to cut to those Paper Bag People watching it in some Fandango.com movie theater. I was wrong, and the film is very real.Unfortunately it seems the production company had a "working backwards" attitude when it came to special effects and make up. While some of the "man to zombie sheep" transformations were well done, visually, you'd jump to another scene where you could almost see the victim holding a squeeze bladder filled with corn syrup and red dye. I also learned that there's another type of comedy in the world. We all know American comedies and British comedies, but I'd never considered New Zealand comedies. I must admit that the soup tastes wonderful and I couldn't help slurping at it.There were so many things inside that would make the soup nice and tasty without having to add MSG but it could be that there are natural glutomates from the ingredients. We found huge cloves of garlic, dried longans, wolfberries, ginseng root, leek, black taucu beans on the 'clear" side whilst the spicy side was full of dried chilies and oil!Yin Yang soupI like the sesame sauce.
