Mumbai, Dec 4: A court today said that the registration of the land, purchased by Bollywood star Rani Mukherjee in Shirdi which attracted much controversy, will be cancelled as the actor purchased it illegally.Rani's land, which has been in the quagmire of controversy for the past one month or so, was declared illegal by a court today.The state government is to take possession of the land.Wanting to build a house in Shirdi in Ahmednagar district, Mukherjee had purchased 11,000 square feet land in 2005 from a farmer Sampat More. Visited Shirdi this Dipawali. Reached one day before Dipawali. Visiting Shirdi is always a splendid out of the world spiritual experience. The day i reached Shirdi, was supposed to meet a priest in regard to staying for the padayatris (people visiting Shirdi from Surat with Palkhi). A devotee had given me the job to get the sanctioned letter for their stay in accommodation provided by Shri Saibaba Sansthan guest houses. Shirdi - Sai BabaSamadhi Mandir :The Mandir is built with stones and Baba's Samadhi is built with white marble stones. A railing is built in marble around the Samadhi and is full of ornamental decorations. In front of the Samadhi are two silver pillars full of decorative designs. Just behind the Samadhi is Sai Baba's marvelous statue made of Italian marble which shows him seated on a throne.
