This week I bring you the series Jigoku Shoujo, or the English translated Hell Girl. This anime series is unlike some of the many ?Shinigami? type anime that are currently out. There is a unique twist to this series which is a website that only becomes available at midnight. The website becomes a portal to the underworld, their only job is to take revenge on your behalf.The series is a bit different than most in that each episode is of a different situation in where revenge is exacted for a variety of reasons. The main character is Ai Enma who is the revenge wielder. She dwells within the hell realm, living with her grandmothers and her faithful companions who travel to our world when a revenge is granted. 2008-03-21 11:21:00 Though the first season lacked clarity and storyline, Jigoku Shoujo’s second season, Jigoku Shoujo Futakomori, managed to fill in some gaps that opened during the first season. Throughout the series, Jigoku Shoujo Futakomori remains generally the same as the first season - a series of one-shots, with the exception of the ending, which consists of an arc of several episodes. The scenarios presented in this season seem much more outlandish than the first, yet, somehow, accomplish the task of presenting how fragile, how selfish, how simply ridiculous human nature can be. After the first wave of shock that came after the end of each episode, each victim or culprit, or whoever ripped the string off of or was the victim of Enma Ai’s voodoo doll, seems real and understandable. This was all brought to both a head and a spectacular finish in the ending, which masterfully brought the series to a close. It did not disappoint me. Y, como siempre, cada vez que veo una serie que me gusta no falta que mi cabeza se ponga a pensar en hacer tal o cual cosplay y Enma Ai (la protagonista) no fue la excepción. Aunque es sencillo a simple vista (un uniforme escolar o el kimono de flores de colores), ese traje tiene ciertos elementos que, si no están presentes no se vería muy bien. Ya para no hacer tan largo el cuento, aquí les traigo unas imágenes de Jigoku Shoujo (Jigoku Shōjo) que me gustaron mucho, tanto por la interpretación/parecido del personaje como por el efecto de las fotos.
