2008-03-31 18:45:00 "Our Ill Wills" è il secondo album degli svedesi Shout Out Louds, uscito nel 2007 ma solo da un paio di mesi in Italia. Il disco è stato prodotto da Björn Yttling, dei Peter Bjorn & John, e contiene dodici meravigliose gemme indie pop, più due bonus track per l'edizione italiana. Un disco strepitoso, che mi ha conquistato al primo ascolto e che colloco nel gruppo dei migliori dischi degli ultimi mesi.Evidenti i richiami ai Cure (non quelli più cupi, però), anche nella stessa voce sofferta del cantante che riporta alla mente Robert Smith. Questo non implica una mancanza di personalità. La band, pur tra quello e altri riferimenti, riesce ad avere una sua identità, a mostrare la propria bravura e maturità. "Our Ill Wills" è un disco che racchiude svariati sentimenti. C'è malinconia, ma non mancano speranza e anche solarità. Ellos son los suecos Shout Out Louds y este ?Our Ill Wills? su segundo trabajo. Para algunos será un disco en el que quizás dejen entrever sus influencias y para otros un calco de las mismas. Para mi la verdad es que es uno de los discos que más me ha gustado desde hace mucho tiempo. Puede que The Cure pese mucho en su sonido o puede que no. This is the comeback we had all hoped they could make after their 2005 debut ?Howl Howl Gaff Gaff? hinted that something very good was afoot. 2006-08-06 19:18:03 Confesso que já muito tempo que estava para ouvir este albúm, pelos vistos estava a perder um grande albúm de excelentes canções indie pop. Vindos da Suécia, o quinteto, Adam Olenius (voz, guitarra), Ted Malmros (baixo), Carl von Arbin (guitarra), Eric Edman (bateria) e Bebban Stenborg (teclas) foi descoberto em 2001 por Filip Wilén, dono da editora Bud Fox Recordings que ficou impressionado com a capacidade da banda em criar melodias sofisticadas com uma abertura muito "upbeat". A partir daí foram aperfeiçoando o seu som e criando mais material durante 2002 até gravarem em dezembro o seu primeiro EP. Em 2003 lançam o seu primeiro albúm, "Howl Howl Gaff Gaff" que foi bastante aclamado no seu país natal.
