Dova's preschool teacher Liz graciously (bravely) invited her students to attend her wedding ceremony.  Amazingly enough, the six kids who attended (3 and 4-year-olds), were very quiet and relatively well-behaved.  There was no talking or running in the aisles.  Of course I had to give a pep talk ahead of time since this was the very first time Dova set foot inside of a church.  And it was a perfect opportunity to practice photography under extremely low light conditions. I got to use all three of my lenses! You would think that after four years I would at least start to "get it". The flow of life in Mexico is very different than in Upstate New York, of course. I have no grand illusions of changing the way things work here just to suit my standards. I have made many adjustments and concessions to my normal and customary ways of doing things. I have learned to be patient. I have learned that only I find value in my time. One of the common things hubby and I have is Hollywood movies watching particularly action movies. Though we also like Filipino movies but we like watching more of the Hollywood produced movies because of the cinematography and of course how actors and actresses portray their characters.Last week, we we?re watching cable reruns of Terminator 3. We have watched this movie several times since we have a DVD copy of it. This movie has a lot of action sequences that involves a lot of car flying and crashing around. Just out of the blue, I asked my husband if these cars have car insurance. Then he looked at me and both of us laugh.Well, I guess it was a silly question but it really made us both laugh that time which of course I find very sweet.
