It's a sad fact the quality of the shows has been too stellar lately. But who can blame them when the show has been out here for ages ( There is one episode in South Part where they refer to this several times. I believe it was "Simpsons did it")Despite the ups and downs of the series the movie is really good stuff. They've gotten back into the essence that made the series so popular: absurd plot and hilarious characters. The best thing of all is that the movie has something for everybody. Kids laugh at the the funny things that happen and adults find tons of references to popular culture and politics.I will not spoil the fun by telling you more about the movie itself. I just say that it's really worth watching!

Packed with laughs and family fun the film has already been voted as one of the best films of all time. Although we didn’t get to see more of the film set in Springfield and many of the signature characters weren’t in the movie I don’t think it seems to matter. Films like this instantly have a built in fan boy audience to immediately vote the movie into the Internet Movie Database top 250 movies of all time list. Over time, however, as more people vote the movie generally falls further and further down the list. The Simpsons debuted at a respectable #33, but has since fallen to an 8.3 rating and ranked at #139th best movie of all time. That’s higher than classics such as Die Hard, Toy Story, The Princess Bride, The Graduate, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, and Trainspotting. Don't get me wrong - it's good in places and incredibly funny in others although admittedly you've probably seen a lot of this in the trailer already. It's definitely not funnier than the funniest Simpsons episodes, and also contains no monkeys with knives. It's still better than 90% of comedies out this year but slightly disappointing nonetheless. This is a JM SUCK IT AND SEE.

There were funny parts, a chuckle here and there, but nothing hilarious. A lot of the funnier parts were in the enormous amounts of comercials that were shown every 5 seconds. But overall a solid movie, family friendly (should be PG), but it was very short. I would say an hour and 20 minutes at most. I give it a 7 out of 10.Thank you for subscribing to my blog!
