As a volunteer art teacher to these marginalized youth, he was awarded by the Metrobank Foundation, Inc. as a grant partner for his advocacy to the "Yellow Shirts"(Minors in Jail) and funded their art exhibits including the 2006 "Symphony in J Minor" at the Cultural Center of the Philippines.
